How do you get into the PGA tour? Do you just show up and try out for the tournament and eventually when you have been to so many you get into the PGA tour? Please tell. Details.

There is something called Q-School (qualifying school). There are a bunch of rounds of qualifying to get into qualifying school. Then each year there is basically a tournament at Q-School and they play something like 90 holes and the top 25 players (plus ties) are then awarded their PGA tour card.

merely artwork complicated! Making it on excursion is very almost impossible. yet of course for some, it does happen. merely understand this activity aspects many super opportunities whether you in no way make it to the PGA excursion. I sacraficed my babies to play golfing and that i strengthen into fairly stable at it. I in no way made it on excursion even though it paid my way via college. I met some marvelous human beings alongside the way. and that i've got made a profession out of it.

Won a USGA Tour Tournament (including US Open Amateur) or be on the top 30 of Q-School.
Tiger Woods won the US Open Amateur twice therefore he skipped the Q school.
