What is the best web hosting site that is free and Mac friendly with access to the FTP servers?

Try 000 Web-Hosting.It should have what you are looking for. They are in my opinion the best free host on the net. If they don't have it I am not certain what other free host will.

It's not made to be mac friendly, but the interface doesn't require any windows-specific tools. You can use a mac FTP client and it'll work fine, as well as the browser, though I would recommend safari.

I would recommend "Host Gator" because it's very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome. This company offers site building tools, application vault, web mail, antivirus, Php, MysQL ,e-commerce and hosts unlimited websites in one plan. Don't go for free web hosting.They are not reliable.
