Two collection agencies?
I fell behind on my rent and got evicted. I settled with the apartments lawyer and paid 2312 dollars. I thought i was done with it. Four months later a collection agency calls and says i owe money for repairs that had to be done to the apartment. Now its stuck on my credit. Is this legal is there anything i can do about this? Please provide links official sites or somthing.

The lawyer should have included any other charges besides past due rent in the first round of collections.
When you settled did you get anything in writing that stated the settlement satisfied the claim and any future claims that my arise? If so, then they can not pass the debt along, this would be your defense.
If the original payment covered only past due rent and legal fees, then you could be help liable for repairs, but, can they prove it at the time and date, how long ago was it when you were evicted? Some states have a statute of limitations on how long a landlord has to seek payment for damages. You should contact your state attorney generals office to find out.
