A lot of superstitious tales about New Years Day?
I thought it would be interesting to hear what superstitious tales people on hear go by, or have heard of on New Years Day. Ive always heard that if you eat cabbage on New Years Day, you will have money all year long. I don't know if I believe, but, Im not taking the chance. lol I eat cabbage. My Aunt always makes a pair of pillow slips on New Years Day for good luck. What are some things you guys do?

i kno in the arabic culture its good luck to break a plate on new years, we always fight over who gets to smack it hardest :) its also bad luck if ur not with ur family when the clock hits twelve or ur not talking to them.
also, in my village in lebanon, every year at midnight, they used to power off the electricity in the whole village for just a minute and then qyickl turn it backk on lol :P

I sleep the booze off and then relocate my hungover butt to the coach, hopefully that will bring me good tidings.
