Colored contacts + big pupils?

It is a little unclear what you are asking. if your friend's pupils are huge because he is messed up on some kind of drug, they are probably letting too much light into his eyes anyway, so, if the contacts lenses are blocking part of the huge pupil opening they are probably helping his vision if anything. The only issue caused by the contacts might be when trying to see under very dark conditions, where the pupil is supposed to be as large as possible.

I think, instead of worrying about the size of your friend's pupils, you might be more concerned about the substances that your friend is putting into his/her body.

If my friend buys colored contacts for a rave and he takes E, would he still be able to see clearly out of the lenses? Because I know your pupils grow larger, and he still thinks he will be able to see perfectly. Wouldn't it cloud the edges of his vision?

I think it's the curve that count like mine is 8.3, theirs a bigger one thats 8.7 but I didn't bother trying I just went back to Acuvue Oasys, I also tried color contacts but like you I saw blurry. :(
