I am in the same situation and I feel, especially in the current economy, I am very lucky to just have a job. The raises will come back. When the economy comes back. Sure, I would love to have a raise but do I want to ask my boss to give me something that I know he can't afford? No. If I'm going to stay with this company I want to be part of it's success, not it's failure. I think you just have to decide how vested you are in this job, how important it is to you.

A huge number of people have had no raise in the last 2 years. No one in the organisation i work for got a raise last year, this year everyone got the same raise - One percent. Many employee's have had to take a salary reduction ! Think your self lucky you have a job!
