How can I fix this Fantasy Basketball team?

Ahh a Nuggies fan- in Chauncy we trust (except when he pulls his groin). I think your problem is that you have a ton of people that are injured right now- Billups, Artest, Biedrins (maybe Lewis too?) that I know of, and Kaman gets hurt when you breathe on him.. I had AK on 2 of my teams last year and he just doesn't get enough minutes in the rotation to make him worthwhile IMO.

I'd do two things before you break it up, but it depends on what style you're playing- I'm basing this on H2H, but if you're playing Rotisserie some things might hold true, but not all of them.

1) Check your standings and see where you're lacking, and replace Brand, AK (Just 'cause they're not getting starter minutes) and Biedrins (until he's healthy again) at least with players that will help you in the areas you're losing in from the waiver wire-

At first glance you should be ok at free throw percentage, three pointers, points and even blocks but you don't have any solid big men that put up good percentages and that are rebounders. Steals is a toss-up, but CP3, K-Mart, Artest and Smith get you a ton of steals each week. If your league is active on the waiver wire, you might not get much, but I'd trade AK for someone that is averaging 8-9 rebounds/game along with 10-15 points in a heartbeat- same for Brand.

2) Check the team(s) that have Howard and Dirk- See what they need to help them, 'cause to get a star player like that you just need to give them something useful in return.

You're not going to get Dirk or Howard for crap- If I was going to make this trade with you, you'd have to give up CP3 straight up or Billups along with Nene or Smith- Smith is probably a better bet. Based on that, I'd make a few changes and get your guys healthy rather than sacrifice 2 producers for 1 all-star. Although it helps tremendously, I just don't think you'll get return on your investment.

You can always try trading some of those point guards away in the hope Calderon get's fit and returns to form but if you're hunting a Dirk or Dwight Howard you'll need to give up someone big, perhaps even CP3. You could try seeing if someone will accept Harrington packaged with a PG for the points/assists, Harrington seems to do little else than score. Artest might be thrown in if you're trading with a Lakers fan, his numbers in fantasy don't come near to his value as a defender in the NBA. Brand is fit again but his PPG are down, you could argue with AI back there his number will take a hit given how AI likes to shoot so much as they share the court, also I'm not sure he's still back in the flow he had two years ago. Throw those 3 together and maybe you can get Dirk/Dwight and another who will fit your needs?

If possible try to get Dwight or Bosh. Dirk won't help you out in rebounds or blocks at all.
