Are Snowboarding jackets with jacket-to-pant link system compatible with other brands.?
What I mean is can two different brands be linked or do brands only make them compatible with their own equipment?

Usually they can only link to the same brand.
For example, I know Burton pants and jackets only link to each other.
Ride also only links to other Ride products.
It's just so you are more likely to buy your whole outfit from them, instead of getting half from another company.
It's a bummer that they do that.
