Breaking the Norm Sociology Project?

I'd like to do something not so popular, but I'm not sure what to do! I have a few ideas:

1) stand close to people & sing badly to myself

2) stand in front of the men's bathroom (I'm female) & ask them to bring me out toilet paper

3) go up to random people and ask for their autograph

4) greet customers going into stores

5) listen to my ipod on an elevator & sing loudly & badly along with my music

list the number of the one you like best, & feel free to suggest your own ideas to me!! thanks!!

Approach your social studies teacher with a list of questions of advice about this project then ask them in detail for information about irrelevant topics eg:

questions about the cheapest and fastest way to get from one part of town to another., whether nylon or cotton tee shirts shoud be worn to class, should students have- or not have-breakfast before they hand in their project, should women students wear skirts or jeans when they write up their results, would the lecturer prefer the project to be written on green or pink paper, etc...

nb this is a variation of one of the classic forms of 'breaching the social norms' that Garfinkel, (the original ethnomethodologist who introduced this research method ) and fellow lecturers, used on their students.. ... ... you would be turning the tables here .. ......so that would be a double level 'breaching the social norms experiment.

ps use a ready prepared list and keep referring to it in as serious, polite and academic way as possible

    1. Stand in a crowded elevator facing toward the people instead of the door.

    2. Refuse to make small talk/answer small talk with long answers: When someone at the grocery store (or anyone really) attempts to make the usual small talk, look at them and just don't respond or when they ask things like, "How are you?" go into a detailed story about how bad things are.
