What's the quote that goes something like "sometimes it takes and extraordinary event to occur before one comes to a realization"?
(I'm using it to describe how, when i was hospitalized, I realized how much I was eating and how unhealthy & gross it was.)

I really don't know that one , but itworks the same as this ,.
Sometimes you are too close to the tree to see the forest .
Meaning everyone else sees your weight , but you don't because you are too close to the problem
