Any whitening of any type is bad. Why is it bad? Simply because you have been conditioned to such perceptions.
Naturally coloured and worn teeth are ALWAYS more attractive. We all can surely all see that some people with fake white teeth aren't true or normal to themselves.
So why would you want to be appear to be weird like these people who need to have fake properties?
They are not attractive properties what-so-ever!

Um, your 11. I don't think you need to whiten your teeth at all, especially if you practice good brushing habits.
Yes, you CAN buy Crest White Strips, etc in the toothpaste aisle at any store. The reason I do not think you should whiten your teeth is because whitening of any kind damages your enamel. I have used these products, and they DO weaken the protective coating on your teeth, which is impossible to replace. Plus, they do not whiten significantly fast enough to prevent damage. Once your enamel is damaged, your teeth will stain easier, and the layer beneath enamel (dentin) is yellow, which is counterproductive to your goals. Also, you are 11, and these products are $20+.
To prolong your natural tooth color, use enamel-strengthening toothpaste and mouth wash. Drink sodas and juices through straws. Limit food/drinks tomato sauce or anything else with citric acid. Brush twice a day for at lease a minute each. Brush gently.
If you decide to whiten anyway, follow the directions carefully. From what I've read, excessive use will result in white/brown spots and severe damage. Also, use enamel-strengthening toothpaste, etc. Floss, too, or the plaque will leave areas unwhitened.

You are so young, I'd be surprisedd that you need it.
Bleaching (and some other methods) can damage and wear down your enamel. This is the protective/hard layer on the exterior of a tooth. You only have one set of teeth, it's best to help mantain there structural integrity for the many years to come.
If you really feel that your teeth are noticably discolored then you should first look at your diet. Soda pop, tea and coffee are all pretty hard on them chemically and will tint them. Any other foods you eat, you can bet if they would stain your shirt they will stain your teeth.
Ways to rectify this would be to drink pure water with your food and throughout the day.
Periodically drink the water and swish it through your teeth.
This will help very much.
And don't stop brushing. At least once in the morning and once at night. I recommend Tom's toothpaste. Its very natural and doesn't have a chemical taste to it.

i also have extremely healthy teeth, i clean just about as much as you do, so if you are telling the truth, there is no reason you should need your teeth whitened, especially at age 11. but if you really want one, you could do the home kind, but you might screw it up. wait a couple years and save up.

I tried for a long time to get white teeth. I finally found a site to get the products dentists use without having to spend hundreds of dollars and it actually works.

Are you serious? You should be doing things like eating mud at the age of 11. Really, you shouldn't have any concerns like this.
