A teacher has called me names.?

A teacher at my school has called me a ******* loser and said I was getting fatter in front of the class. The fat one really got to me. Should I ignore it or tell the dean or a counsoler. Can this get him fired because I really wouldn't care he's been mean to me that much.

If I understand you well I think the best way ,if possible,is to talk to him and convince him of his behaviour and ask for an apologise .If he didnot accept his mistake then you can tell the dean or a counnsoler.

Another way is to forgive him or as you said ignore it and forget about it but if he continiues the same behaviur you should do tough action in conformity with regulations.

If this is true, you should definitely let the counselor or dean know. That's completely out of line, even if you did something to aggravate him. If this is the only complaint they've had about this, he will probably just be reprimanded for it, but if there have been a lot of similar complaints in the past, it could be the last straw toward getting him fired. These days, you can't really fire a teacher for a single misbehavior. However, if there is a record of complaints from different students over time, it can reach a point where the person gets fired.
