Is it proper to use the word Namaste in Spanish?
There is a book where it says things like "I put my hands in namaste to pray." Is there a translation for this word if not is it proper to use the word Namaste in either or both conversation and academically?
Nameste is used in Sanskrit by the Hindu.

In Spanish the same word would be used with no spelling modification

It is not improper to use it in either Spanish or English, but you will probably not be understood.
