how long does the bleeding last after an endometrial biopsy?

I had a biopsy done on Monday and I am still having bright red spotting... how long does it usually last?

Please call your doctor if your bleeding hasn't slowed by this point in time. If it is actually just a few spots and not a rapid flow there is nothing to really worry about. Biopsies are somewhat invasive, the tissues take time to heal (sometimes days and in some women, weeks). If it will make you feel more comfortable, call your doctors office and speak to the nurse or PA in charge, they should be able to confirm this for you. Take care.

The tearing from a biopsy can last for a couple of days. As a rule not longer then a day or 2. If it's a concern or is happening for more then 3 days, yahoo answers really isn't the place to be asking. Call your physician.
