harmony one remote seems to be doing nothing for about 8 seconds before changing activities?
when you choose an activity such as watch tv or watch projector or play media player the remote seems to hang for about 8 seconds doing nothing then it starts doing as it should perfectly well.
ive watched the remote after pressing the activity i want and the little icon is flashing as though its sending out an ir signal for 8 seconds then sends out the normal signal.
how can i stop it taking so long at the beginning and any idea what its doing ?

Sometimes the remotes send an ON command to the television, then it has a delay to let the TV warm up enough to respond to more commands to switch inputs or channels.
Hook your remote up to your computer, then call Logitech tech support and they can customize the time delay for you.
