Burt's Bees lip balm replenishing with pomegranate oil?

I think that whoever said that it smells like an old lipstick must have gotten a bad batch?? I don't know. But I can tell you that my tube of the Burt's Pomegranate lip balm smells really good! I can't really describe it well but it's a very realistic smell - not like one of those fake, cherry lip balms that smell like cough medicine. It's sweet smelling, with just a hint of tartness - very yummy. The actual balm is a red color. But when you put it on your lips it doesn't really show. If you have really pale lips if might if a slight pinky tint to it, but nothing much because I can't even see it on my lips! The texture is very smooth, a little bit waxy but it still goes on very well. The moisturizing abilities of ths balm, however, isn't that good...now, I'm not saying that it bad, it's just very average. It moisturizes, but not to a point were it will fix chapped lips. I'd say that it's better for just maintaining lips so they don't dry out. Or if you want something light on your lips that moisturizes and give them a tiny, little tint of color but not something heavy like vaseline or drying like lipstick, for example. Burts Bees Pomegranate

I think you should get both since they are both very good brands.

I used to have Burts bee's replenishing, and i loved it. Like the user above, the color is red but not too dark.. think Chapstick classics red. I loved it, but my brother thought it was his and took it. I actually like the replenishing lip balm better than the original (the one that contains more menthol). :3 haha. My overall favorite drugstore lip balm is Softlips! Definitely makes my lips softer than ever, and the packaging is really convenient because it's small and thin.

I don't think it smells like old lipstick. It just has the tiniest hint of Pomegranate smell. It leaves my lips very soft and smooth and is great in the cold winter time. It is a dark red, so if you have really light lips, it may leave a slight red tint to your lips. It doesn't leave any tint of red on mine, but i also have really dark red lips.

I have it and i would suggest you getting it..i dont really know what old lipstick smells like cuz i throw mine out monthly, but even so i think it smells fine.

i havent tried either kind but i am absolutley in love with chapstick brand moisterizer kind. its ahmazing! and you can even buy the ones with the pink packaging because it supports breast cancer
