where can i locate a free copy of word?
I had this in old COMPUTER and thought i had put in a external memory yet it gone the window 7 (new COMPUTER] cant locate

Depending on the age of you MS Word product it may not be compatible with Windows 7 and that could be the reason it doesn't seem to be on the external drive were you put it. You could either contact Microsoft to see if they will send you new disc for you Word product or you could take a look a Open Office.
Open Office is a free suite of programs comparable to MS Office that you can downloand and begin using right away and there will never be a charge for the software. Their website is http://www.openoffice.org/

It's not available for free. If you have your serial number, contact Microsoft and see if they can send you replacement media.
Or you can download Open Office, which is a free similar product which can read and write Word files.

WORD CAN ONLY BE GOTTEN THROUGH MIRCO SOFT LIKE NORTON , THEY GIVE YOU A NUMBER, AND YOU USE THAT . BUT ALL I DO IS CALL MY KIDS AND ONE OF THEM HELPS ME
WITH ALL MY COMPUTER TROUBLES, I CAN BUILD YOU A FAST CAR OR A TRUCK , OR JUST
WORK ON THEM AND SCHOOL BUSES AND CITY BUSES, GAS OR DIESEL . THAT WAS WHAT I DID TILL I GOT RETIRED DO TO A BACK INJURY
