Which author do you think is better, and why?

The only two I know are Jodi Picoult and Stephanie Meyer, and I'd say Picoult because she has a better writing style. And because her characters are always put in positions that prompt you to wonder what you'd do if you were there, which makes it much more real for the reader.

It has been a million years since I worked in a Library. I only know Judy Blume, she wrote teen books or young adult books. I am not sure I remember reading any of her books. I would have probably read Agatha Christie, or Victoria Holt, Philippa Car, and the other names she wrote under. I would have read Barbara Michael's too. I didn't like it when Barbara Michael's wrote under Elizabeth Peters though. I like old books, old authors, I am not much into modern writing.

Stephanie meyer , because i didn;t used to like reading much but and then i read the twilight series and i have loved reading ever since and because she is an amazing writer and her books are amazing and sweet and romantic and funny sometimes + the twilight series are one of my fav books

Not much interested in teen chick-lit authors, I'm afraid. Bit like asking which is the best quality discount store.
