New Tab shows history on IE8?

I do not know what it is called but when I opened a new tab on IE8 it would show me a small graphic of the last few sites that I had visited. The other day I had to restore my computer and it no longer does that, so my question is this; how do I turn that feature on and what is it called?

    Tools>Internet Options>Tabs>Settings>When a new tab is opened, open:>the New tab page.

    If this is already on, then make sure you have two tabs open, visit a site in one and close it.
