DOES AOL PROMOTE BAD GRAMMAR?

O.K.,just a little quirk on my part.Why,after all of these years,has AOL continued to use the phrase"You got mail" instead of "You HAVE mail"? The next thing you know,"Dis",Dat"and "Aksed" will appear as acceptable to Spell Checker!!

    i think what the you got mail guy is saying is almost like, "hey, while you were away, YOU GOT MAIL"

    what i find funny is that facebook is flagged by spell check EVEN when you type it in facebook! lol

    I think the internet promotes bad grammar. I mean... look at this place!
