When will America's milk industry apologize for committing fraud against the American people?

Look at this "Got Milk" ad featuring former baseball player Mark McGwire:

http://baseball.dailyskew.com/uploaded_images/mark...

The implication from the milk industry is that Mark McGwire put on muscle because he drank a lot of milk.

In reality, McGwire was putting on muscle due to steroids.

When will the American dairy industry apologize for this fraud, and offer refunds for people's milk purchases from 1998 to 2003 or so?

Why is the dairy industry so corrupt?

I have not seen the ad, but suggesting that McGwire got what one writer called "coconut-sized biceps" from drinking milk is ridiculous. McGwire has now admitted he used steroids.

Maybe "Steroid Valley Dairy" has a new milk that will help us all! lol

Don't hold your breath waiting for an apology. The dairy folks will just drop the ad. I think the people who created this ad are dumber than the cows that provide the milk.

The Dems, as a party, did not found the KKK. The KKK was founded by a small group of Confederate vets in Pulaski, TN. I know the Dems aren't perfect on race (e.g, Woodrow Wilson was very racist and segregated the federal gov't.). However, the Dems have been good friends to us since the New Deal (e.g, FDR banned job discrimination among defense contractors, Truman integrated the Armed Forces, Johnson signed the Civil Rights of 1964, etc.) and have redeemed themselves by doing so. The things that the Republicans have done to us since 1964 (Willie Horton ad, opposing the MLK holiday, etc.) are probably beyond redemption. Oh, and as an adjective, it's "Democratic", not "Democrat".

I hardly think that falls under the category of corruption. Did Mark M. go around telling people he was on steriods? Should "the milk industry" have used their in-house psychics to determine that?

Funny, when I bring up how there ought to be truth in advertising again, I get thumbs down. But this doesn't qualify as an untruth. It's more likely that they didn't know.

I never drank milk because of Mark McGuire. Besides almost all milk has steroids of some sort in them too.

Well, the cows produce that much milk because they are injected with hormones.... Mark McGuire seems like a good fit.

    I agree.

I would also like an apology for the Beyonce ad - I still can't dance or sing, despite a gallon a week.

Never. Were you fooled? I just buy milk because it goes good with so many things.
