my best guy friend asked me out and i said no. i like him, but he's leaving for college in half a year, his family doesnt really like me, and i'm afraid it would completely ruin/change our friendshp if we broke up.

kay, u kindda broke his heart or in this case, broke the friendship by saying no. but dont worry. if u reallllllly love him then u should tell him that. even though his leaving for college, it can still work. andabout his family, does it really matter? okay, maybe it does. but the bigger thing is for him to love you not his famly

you like him, you should give him a chance or you'll regret it later on if you don't. it doesn't matter if it doesn't work out or not in the long run it's about giving it a shot and taking things day by day. dont plan your future, take this chance, you wiull regret it if you dont in the future. trust me.
