    You are sort of correct

    x = x² is logical if x ≥ 0 (and then √x is defined)

    It follows that

    x - x² = 0

    x(1 - x) = 0

    So there are two answers:

    x =0 or x = 1

    sqrt(x) = x

    x = x^2

    x(1 -x) = 0

    ==> x = 0 or 1 is the solution.

    Checking: sqrt(0) = 0, so that's true

    Checking: sqrt(1) = 1, so that's true

    x=1. It's the only number that is its own square root.

  • yeah you are right!!!
