magic the gathering ward question?

i have a ward sliver out that grants protection for a color i choose when it comes into play. i choose white so would all my slivers be protected from spells like day of judgment where the spell is a white card?

    Protection from X prevents:

    Damage

    Enchantment(Aura)/Equip

    Blocked by

    Targetted by

    anything with X color in it's cost.

    Day of Judgement does none of those, so it still gets through. Really,t he only protections from Day of Judgement are Regeneration and Indestructibility.

    protection basically means that they can't be targeted or dealt damage by what they are protected from. since day of judgement doesn't target, it still wipes the board.
