That equation is false.
You might mean
"3 times the cube root of 27 equals 9", which is true.
As you have it written though, you are using a square root, not a cube root.

well, you break â 27 into â 9 and â 3. the square root of 9 is 3 so it would be 3(3)â 3 so thats about 9, but not exact. do you understand?

the cube root of 27 is 3.. 3 x 3 = 9... maybe it's meant be 3 x cube root 27 = 9 ?

You may have copied this down wrong.
The radical sign with a small 3 next to it means "cube root", and the cube root of 27 is 3. So perhaps there were some other symbols you missed.

3sqrt27 = 3 sqrt(9*3) = 3 sqrt9 sqrt3 = 3*3 sqrt3 = 9sqrt3 not just 9.
