why would i have a hole in the sidewall of my new tire.?
could it possibly be a manufacturer defect the tire is only 12 days old the other tires seem to be fine driving down the road when it happened nothing unusual all the sudden tire is flat changed it and called company that i bought and who installed the tires didnt spend extra 100 dollars for insurance they tell me i have to pay for a new tire and install but cant tell me what happened to my tire very frustrating. feel like im getting the shaft. right in the middle of sidewall by lettering sightly bigger than a pin hole any input would make me feel better about other tires

You probably ran over something on the road! It happens all the time! If the tire had a defect, it wouldn't have lasted 12 days!

Call the manufacturer. I would think that they have a warranty against manufacturing defects. The "insurance" that the shop is talking about is for nails and such. And when this thing gets resolved, then you'll know about asking about the manufacturer's warranty before buying the tires. Also check your receipt. They may have info in writing that you can present to the tire shop.
