digital camera question?

I have a vivicam digital camera. purchased memory car and followed directions, but screen keeps saying card full. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me with this? Ty

    Try the card in a different camera if you have another one.

    You probably need to format the card. You can do this by going to the menu on your camera, it's quite easy.

    Read the manual, it'll help. :)

    You probably have ' a lock function on your memory card. You can unlock this by moving a slider on one of the sides of your memory card.

    You may have to format the card if it's the first time it's being used.
