I know Haiti got hit the hardest, but I'm wondering how strong it was to the Dominican Republic.

Yeah, the Dominicans felt the quake. I know this because after it had happened, my grandparents (who live in the Dominican Republic) had called my mom saying they felt an earthquake.

There is nothing to "lol" about in the other answers. I know laughing can be an emotional release for those that feel they have cheated death, however Please be careful with your answers. God Bless those affected.

It wasn't that bad.
Some were just scared cause that neverr happens there.
But, my boyfriend didn't feel a thing LOL.
