Need help with google voice?
So I'm with verizon I just got the motorola droid about a month ago..Today I got my invite to google voice. I'm going to be honest I have no idea what it is lol...When I got the email it asks if I want to use the number I have or get a google voice number whats the difference and which is better? Please help

You will get to keep both. The only thing is that the Google Voice number can forward calls to you etc. It helps with privacy because you can block certain people, text from online, have it route calls to different phones at different times, still communicate after you have lost your phone, and it has some nice features like converting voice mails to text for reading.
it is pretty much an advanced service with amazing features that routes information like texts, and calls to your actual phone. It helps because if you lost your phone, everything would be on your google account and you could sync contacts from your phone, to voice to gmail, etc.
