Help with taking the back off a Hotpoint Aquarius TDL 52P tumble dryer?
Can someone please explain to me how to take the back of one of these machines please. All the screws ar out, I can't seem to get the metal fan off and it's stopping the rest coming away.
Thanks

High I saw your other post about the drive belt,I got this info from a hotpoint manual hope it helps.
Sorry to contradict your other answers from your previous question, but according to Hotpoint they appear to be wrong.
Replacing the drive belt on a tumble dryer
Fitting a new belt on a tumble dryer is harder than you might think, and considerably more involved than replacing a belt on a washing machine. The problem is that the drum on a tumble dryer is encased between the back and front panels. Removing the back panel on a tumble dryer usually just reveals the heating element (if fitted at the rear) or a metal casing so to replace the belt you normally need to strip down the front panel.

Sorry Jo, my parts supplier's website shows no results for that model number. If you check it again and find something different, post it and I'll try again.
