Uncertainty question for dividing?
if I have 0.05g +/- 0.001g divided by 24.305g/mol what would be my answer with uncertainties...

If you are trying to find the number of mols and you are not sure then you can have a range
assume its +.001 so the you get 0.051 and you will get 0.0020983
assume its -.001 so then you get .049 and you will get 0.0020160
You can have an answer between 0.0020983-0.0020160 huge difference cause you are working with a small number
