It's a very enjoyable subject to study, but only if you can afford to prolong your adolescence indefinitely. If you anticipate having to work for a living, you'll find that teaching English Literachoor to the next generation of the leisure class is probably the only career open to you.

well if you intend to be a writer or an English teacher or something. other than that, no. but hey not everyone wants to study something practical. i studied psych, wouldn't have had it any other way. the unemployment is an annoying side effect though. lol

Depends on your interest, on whether you're good at it, and on whether it is in demand from where you're living in. Language or ESL (English as a Second Language) is much more in demand globally, though.

What do you mean by "good for your future"?!!! Anything you LOVE is good, because then you enjoy doing it and so you are creative in the field. I call it something MORE than "good".

    Isn't it?
