How do you sharpen a eraser?

rub it on the carpet or canvas or even your jeans. Just any rough surface. (will smell funny tho)

This might not sharpen it to a point but it cleans it up.

If you need to erase something really small with out disturbing the rest of whatever you are working on i recommend these tools

I bought an electric eraser at Aaron Brothers for 11 bucks. (i don't think Michaels sells them, i looked) no matter the price, they are so worth it!!

Never heard of such a thing.

Why don't you use a blade? I've often used a blade/ pen knife to sharpen my eraser during my time in Art College. Perhaps they had invented a Eraser sharpener that I'm not aware of????

There is another type of eraser known as "putty eraser", we used them during art & drawing classes. GIve them a try, they won't run out that easily.
