htc touch diamond not switching on?

hey! i have a htc diamond which doesnt switch on now. the thing is i had a busy day and the phone battery got dead so i removed the battery and kept it separately for a day. then on the next day i kept it for charging and it wasnt getting charged. when i gave it to the service centre they told it cant get fixed. but i find it hard to digest. does anyone know what to do? thanks!

    I can just suggest you to have a battery change

    perchance and doubtless no longer First it relies upon in the journey that your Diamond on sprint contains a SIM card? If it has a sim card there could be of undertaking. yet maximum probable no because of the fact the HTC touch Diamond will probabbly be locked to sprint merely
