Haiti are colony of France?

if YES, then what are the obligation and responsibility of French Government to Haiti?

for responsibility ==> why the french government cant control the problem of Haiti.

and why they need a help of United Nation?

    yes,an old colony of france.you would think they would help since they used them ,abused them and left them. hey ,what did you expect from frog eaters......this what they do to all of their colonies.

    Haiti are independent of France since January 1, 1804, or two hundred and six years and fifteen days

    I don't think France has any more residual responsibility for the plight of Haiti than does the rest of humanity.

    They've been independent for a long time. That's like saying Spain should be responsible for most of Latin America (though in truth, their legacy of colonialism and enslavement is a major reason why most LA countries can't get their acts together). If anything, the US is responsible for Haiti since the US administered it in the 29th Century.

    Haiti WAS a colony of France. However, since they have had their independence for the last 206 years, I would that on that basis alone the French owe them very little if anything. Now there may be some agreements made after the fact that provide for something like that, but I don't know about that.
