Washington's policies lead to Hamilton vs.Jefferson Essay help please, preferably a US History teacher?

I'm doing an essay for extra credit and the task is worded oddly. This is the task:

Discuss how the policy differences under Washington divided Hamilton and Jefferson and led to the development of the nations first political parties, the Federalists and Jeffersonian Republican parties.

Be sure to discuss the different views held by each party and use examples of specific policies that they supported, both foreign and domestic.

You should also discuss the different ways in which political parties expressed their views, e.g. newspapers.

You should also include a discussion about how each party came to its end.

I understand the basis of the essay (compare and contrast the two parties), but I do not know how Washington's policies led to Hamilton and Jefferson disagreeing. Can someone explain this for me?

Update:

I'm not asking someone to do my homework for me, I'm asking for an explination of something that is unfindable on the internet, or a better explination of the wording.

Update 2:

AGAIN I state: I am NOT asking for you do to my homework, I am the one writing the essay. I just need clarification. Geez...

Well in a nutshell, Hamilton wanted a strong central government and the Jefferson wanted the states to be stronger.

You really should read your text book. It is all there. Just read the part that is relevant. You don't have to read the whole thing.

And what are you doing homework on a Saturday for? Go watch television! shooo!

I won't do your homework for you but I can tell you that it was the beginning of the Liberal Conservative battle for power in American. Hamilton wanted the government to have more control like in England under the king and Jefferson believed in the Liberal values this country was founded on. The Republican party was always the Liberal party until the 1960's when the conservative Democrat party was overrun with Liberals and the party's did a flip. I fully expect the current Republican party to become more and more Liberal until the merge with they Democrats.

Could be that Washington gave Hamilton a lot of power, especially to set up the financial system, which was structured to lean Hamilton's way. Once you rock the boat one way, however unintentional, it's bound to swing back the other.
