wait until you meet them. Really, a dogs name will come through in it's personality within at least the first few days.
It'll come to you as that cute puppy is asleep on your lap and you're rubbing behind his ears =)

You may want to just wait in naming your dog and let him/her name themselves. You will find that after just a few hours of having them they will show some very interesting characteristics that are unique within themselves. Those characteristics tend to open up a long list of different names that you would have never come up with before.
Example. My puppy we named as we were driving home with her in the car. She's a white miniature american eskimo and we decided to name her Nibby, short for Nibbler as she was quite the little Nibbler at the time. Had we held off a bit longer I probably would have named her something else as this little girl loves peanuts, sneezes like crazy, has learned how to pick my father's pocket for her doggy treats, and is constantly tearing up cardboard.
With that in mind I may have just named her Peanut, Achew, Picket, or Teary

try a name that suits your dog's breed and has never been used before like patience or something. laradors have really good temper so you should go down that path... unless ofcourse your dog is crazy then your going through a different path
