Modern Warfare 2 question?

Question

How much does connection have to do with playing the game??  I have a decent DSL connection giving me about 3 bars while playing.  There isn't any lag or anything like that but I get the feeling other players somehow have an advantage over me.  On the killcam they always see me way before I see them.  Does the game give an advantage to the players with the best connection???

3 bars is still good, players with higher ping bars do get a little advantage, because they see stuff before you do, but we're not talking 5 seconds, we're talking possible 1 @ max if not even.

people with 4 bar connections will have pretty much no lag what so ever so they are more likely to kill you first. The better the connection the better accuracy they will have. DSL is not bad but you should look into getting a cable connection, it will help alot. Also on a side note they host will always have 4 bars and better connection than everyone else.

The only way they would have an advantage is if you were lagging - and if that's so then your whole team would be also lagging because with MW they pick a game host who's connection is used to host your game. I think its more of a mindset that you have put in your head that your connection is the reason - I know this mindset because its something I though was affecting me

You're probably playing on ps3. Its like that for everyone. I have extremely good internet fios 25/10 and that happens to me to I always have four bars. Internet helps a little but its sonys servers because I have it on xbox 2 and it is very smooth and killcams are true. If u are on xbox then it is your internet and its not as fast as think
