My car lease it up in 4/2011. I lease a saab.?
Do you think I'll get a buy back deal if GM drops saab? I figure it is very possible the company might even exist anymore by then.

I believe you are saying that you currently have a lease on a Saab that expires in April, 2011.
Your current lease has nothing to do with Saab. You didn't lease the car from Saab. Saab doesn't lease cars or make car loans. Saab builds cars and sells them to car dealers. If you leased the car at a Saab dealership then in all likelyhood you leased the car from GMAC. This means that the dealer sold the car to GMAC and GMAC leased the car to you. This is important because your lease contract will stay in force regardless of what happens to Saab as a brand. That means that GMAC will take back the car at the end of the lease as per the lease contract you signed. You likely have the option to buy the car from GMAC at the end of the lease too. If the Saab brand is dead by then I would not buy it unless GMAC agreed to sell it to you at well below the pre-defined selling price. Look in your lease contract and you will find the pre-defined selling price.
If Saab is dead by then there may be marketing programs in place by GM (Cadillac, Buick), Volvo, Ford, VW, etc to try and capture the loyal Saab drivers who no longer have that Saab option. If I was in Marketing at Volvo I would buy a list of every Saab lease and expiration date and start making phone calls and offers to them to try and capture that marketshare.
