Is it better to add dry-to-wet or wet-to-dry when cooking...
For instance, would it be better to add flour to a bowl with eggs in it.. or add eggs to a bowl with flour in it....
I am asking this since I try to find a method which will result in less.. um.. lumps.. in my paste.
Hummm... one says wet-to-dry... one says dry-to-wet and one says that it doesn't matter.... :/

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients while stirring/whisking. If you add flour to the eggs, there will be large clumps of flour in the eggs.

I always add wet to dry. I guess it doesn't matter if it's one ingredient, but if you're using more than 1, always mix them together (dry only) first with a fork and then add the wet ingredients.

wet to wet and dry to dry only at all times. dont ever mix or it could react with each other and then cause an explosive reaction
