Foot well lights in a Mustang?

Are there supposed to be foot well lights in a 89 Mustang GT convertible? I can't find any sockets under the dash panels.

    They where an option but not all got the . Does your rear view mirror have lights on it ? Ford has been cheap on there lighting for years . My Mustang doesn't have door switch on passenger side .

    foot well lights? I don't think I've ever heard of their being lights at your feet in any mustang
