it means '' you kill somebody and accompany him in his funeral''

Sentence 1 is something like 'I am a spiritual leader/prophet' Sentecne two, appears to be a quote from the poem 'Invictus', reading 'I am the captain of my soul'.

well , it's not a sentence to begin with . so if you translate it literally like that
you will have non sense sentence.
and yes it means ( you kill somebody and walk in his funeral)
you say it to somebody who does something bad and act like it didn't come from him
example ..
2 persons . A) broke b's camera
B) OMG, what happend to my camera ?
A) that's terrible , somebody broke it .
in this case . the person (A) killed the man and walked in his funeral

i asked a native right now, and he says it means, they are keeling people, and going to their funeral ceremony!

this is a very well known and widely used proverb. It means "you kill a person and walk in his funeral"
