spark problem 1500 chevy p/u?

had a problem with the starter solonoid so i went out bought a new starter but still no spark to the coil ..so i had coil tested it was fine ,,still no spark so i had my control module tested it was fine , still no spark,,, plug wires good cap and button is good ,,, any help thanks

    you don't say what year????

    The starter has nothing to do the the coil getting spark... if the motor turns over the starter is fine... If the truck is pre computer you can supply 12V from the battery to the + side of the coil and see if it starts... if it starts then the problem is in your ignition switch

    check for voltage at the battery terminal on the distributor, if there is good voltage test the pick up coil next. possibly bad distributor, maybe broken timing chain. if the timing chain is broken the cam won't turn the distributor and there won't be any spark. Last, if your truck still isn't starting you might need to check into the camshaft position sensor.

    test the + wire that goes to the coil. if there is a break in that wire then the coil can,t get juice so it can go to the distributor. also if you have a HEI distributor then the wire that goes to the pick-up in the distributor could have burnt into.

    Check if there is any fuel going through the injection.

    Just a guess, but have you check you ignition fuses?
