so i texted my ex the other day, and out of nowhere, he says, 'so how's it going between you and allan?' (alan is a guy that is interested in me) and when i told him i wasn't talking to allan anymore, my ex said, 'did something happen?'. i was just wondering why he would ask me this....

Honestly, I feel that your ex still has feelings for you because he was concerned about the fact that you're talking to someone else. There's nothing wrong with moving on, but if you want to work things out with your ex and give him another shot, go for it. Otherwise, find someone better.

He still wants you. If theres no other guys' interested he still has a small window to get back with you? From the information you have given thats as far as the oracle can see!!!!

he could possibly still care for you, judging by how he asked if something happened. but there are other times when people just want to be smart assholes and try to make you feel bad for leaving them, just keep a conversation with him and see how empathetic he is.
