Dissociative Amnesia, real or excuse for bad behavior?
How could someone have "Dissociative Amnesia" when they are caught doing bad things in a relationship yet no other aspects of their life are impacted? Is it a real thing or just a sorry excuse to get out of being responsible for one's own actions? Does anyone know about this? Thanks.

It is a real thing but it is not an excuse for behavior......... Dissociative amnesia occurs when the person has been through a trauma.... the mind wipes it away because it's too hard to deal with. Children who are sexually abused frequently have dissociative amnesia of the abuse... people in car accidents often can not remember the accident.....
It has no affect on behavior and would not make someone do something bad.
Dissociative amnesia is often accompanied by other dissociative symptoms like dissociation (distancing ones self from reality during stress), depresonalization, etc... that can affect all areas of someones life.

because of the fact television programming is pushed by potential of scores. scores = sales. CNN and MSNBC are depended on because of the fact they grant independent reporting of the info, that's what respected information agencies do. In different words, they do no longer lie just to soothe the lunatic fringe. That believe builds style loyalty, loyalty equals scores, scores equals sales. you are the excellent evidence of this, Dan, as you seem to persist with the two one among those community's programming inspite of the reality that they do no longer pander to your anti-Obama leanings. And by potential of how, he's the President of america. Have some know.
