How to make my mind stop playing tricks on me. PLEASE HELP!?
I have a problem where i think about stuff too much. for example I cant fall asleep because I keep thinking my mind is telling me not to sleep. I keep thinking about sleep so much that for the past two days I have not slept. Or I would think in my mind that I am not breathing well and it would make me breathe weird. I make myself believe stuff and then that starts a chain reaction and I would just keep thinking about it. and another one is when I was about to have sex with my girlfriend, I kept thinking about getting hard and now everytime I am about to have sex,i cant get hard. Can someone please help me. please..

Performance anxiety, likely stemming from general anxiety. Everyone experiences it to some extent (the breathing thing, for instance, is common to a lot of people), but the sleep issues and psychological impotence are issues that you need to work on. I would strongly suggest talking to your family doctor, and asking for a referral to speak to a counselor (see a family counselor to start with, rather than a psychologist; they're less expensive, far more casual and less likely to pigeon-hole you). You might also need some sleeping pills and anti-anxiety drugs, but not unless you've tried talk therapy first.
Note that I'm not a doctor. I can't diagnose you, and you shouldn't take my word over that of a professional. You need to see someone who is trained in these matters to get to the root of this.
Edit: I really wouldn't listen to the guy who suggested smoking pot. Although I have no problem with people using marijuana & believe it should be legalized, I strongly recommend against anyone with anxiety, depression or other mental health issues using any recreational drugs on a regular basis. This includes alcohol. Once in a while is fine, but all the time = problems.

I do not want to rule out getting help from a psychologist and my suggesting is most reverends study psychology or know resources you can contact. I personally don't have a lot of faith in drugs as a long run cure. I have taken two different antidepressants that only made me angry and more depressed.
Pot is not a good idea for someone with anxiety problems as I remember one friend whom was a musician got extremely paranoid. The stage lights were looming in and out on him and he was fearful everyone knew what he just did. He was unable to perform and ran from the stage.
There are natural calming herbs to help you sleep like a combination of Valerian and Skull Cap.
Another possibility for your severe anxiety is demons like to mess with us and make us think things they put in our heads are our own thoughts. There are lots of things that can open doors to these entities. Ever play with a Ouija board, checked out a haunted house extensive drug use, tried to contact the dead, all these things and more could open the door. You have nothing to loose before you poo poo my idea got to a Pentecostal or spirit filled church. Have them pray to exorcise these annoying characters. I pick these churches because they believe in healing by prayer and removing demons. Even scientist recognize the power of prayer.

Take it from me, WAIT TO TEST! Wait at least a day before your period is due. It's better to actually wait until you miss it -- the reason is -- during the very early stage of pregnancy, some women do not produce enough of the hormone that would make a test positive. The longer you wait, the more hormone you will have in your body and the better chances you have of a positive. Also, don't worry -- your question is fine. I am so sick of people saying "we aren't your pregnancy test" DUH. This is a trying to conceive forum. So, save your money and wait until you miss (or the day before if you just can't wait!) Hope you get your positive SOON!

Yes there is help available, and it seems that you could use some. But this is not the place to be looking for it. I would start by seeing a doctor. You will probably be embarrassed ... nothing we can do about that. But it couldn't possibly be as embarrassing as not being able to get it up.

it sounds like you have pretty bad anxiety problems, i have anxiety too .. you have a few options:
- you could consult your doctor and he/she may put you on medication
- you could get a therapist to talk to about your anxiety
- there is a new kind of self help medication .. it's like a sound reccording that you listen to and it sorta clears your mind and helps you fall asleep , and there's also one for anxiety aids too! i use them and i like them , because i don't really like going to the doctor .. they work well for me , but if they don't work for you the company will give you your money back 100% .. so it's worth a go :)

i think you have anxiety issues. try Melatonin with a glass of milk an hour before you go to bed

idk but i have the same problem sometimes it sucks, im a hypochondriac, i swear imma die at 17 from 969786969678 different desise the doctors say i dont have , but w.e my mind thinks i do. try not to think about it, watch tv or something funny.
