Will Obama blame Pelosi or Reid for Health Care Bill Failure?

Its obvious these politicians are out of their minds. None of them are DRs, they are all lawyers so they have no experience in medicine. These lawyers wrote a 2,000page health care bill. Who will have to answer for this?

Will Reid or Pelosi be blamed for this colossal error?

Give him time, and Obama will blame Bush. In an interview after Brown won in Mass., Obama said the dims "lost due to voter outrage and anger over government, including the last eight years."

Obama got around to blaming Bush for Tuesday's loss.

One thing the boy ain't lacking is gall.

Yes the health care bill is a failure and the failure is it didn't go far enough it should have a single payer or a public option but the insurance company and the republicans will scare everybody to death with there lies about the public option calling it a government take over which the webster dictionary define the words public=noun 1 the people as a whole 2 a group of people having common interest; Option=1 the power or right to choose 2 a right to buy or sell something at a specified price during a specified period. I just don't see anything in those definition about a government take over but i guess if you say it enough times some people may just believe you just like some people still believe King George is alive Tea par tiers is that you

First off, I really don't know whose idea it was to start up this Health Care scheme! If it WAS Obama's, he should have taken medicine when he was in college instead of whatever radical agenda he had!! His college records are sealed, so that tells me, he didn't do that well in class. If he had been such a great student, don't you think he would have been crowing about it instead of hiding it!? Same goes for Pelosi and Reid. I have said this before, and he still hasn't changed his ways, when Obama makes a speech, he is NOT talking TO the People. And I wish he would quit using the word WE!! WE are NOT amused! No, I think WE will get blamed for this colossal "error" for NOT keeping the faith!!! WE will be the UNAmericans who revolted against our government's wishes!!! I wonder how they are going feel when they all step off their pedestals and join the FREE America? If they ARE Lawyers, they are going to find it hard to make a living away from Politics! I definately wouldn't hire any one of them!

You are counting your chickens before they hatch. If health care and insurance reform bills can be worded in ways that tie them to budget, they can all be passed in the Senate with only 51 votes, and Democrats hold 59 of the 100 seats. This process is called Reconciliation, and was used by GW Bush to push through his tax cuts for the top 1.5% wealthiest Americans back in 2001.

There is no "health care bill failure" simply because a truck-driving centerfold fellow with a cult-evangelical leaning won himself a single seat in the Senate---albeit a prestigious one based on Ted Kennedy's wonderful legacy from which all Americans have benefited. I rather hope for the next Senate race, the Democrats convince Teddy Kennedy, Jr., to run---he'd easily win in a landslide.

I don't see the so-called "colossal error" to which you are referring, unless you mean that AG Coakley ran a pretty lackluster campaign. Voters mad about not getting the public option they wanted and angry about the Senate Democrats waiting too darn long to simply "get 'er done!" on healthcare and insurance reforms decided to chastize Democrats by letting the other side win, but maybe this GOP-win is a needed catalyst that my dear, disorganized Democrats need to push back HARD, push legislation through with Reconciliation on all the really consumer-friendly important stuff, build up their momentum...I sure hope so anyway.

chances are Obama will blame either Bush once again or Brown, but hey, neither one is responsible for the failure of the health care disaster bill fortunately. Obama will always blame Bush, even if it has been 4 years since Bush left office

No. The American people are those that should be blamed for the failure to pass. If the American people want reform that works abroad to lower costs and improve health outcomes, go for the reforms Obama wants. If they want reform that favours the (un)insurance companies, go for that which the right is promoting.

I am always amazed how many Americans seem not to be aware about the real healthcare issues relying instead on FOX and other sources to spread lies about the healthcare system of the USA and those abroad. I mean, if healthcare in nations with universal coverage is so bad, why do they keep it?

Obama wants to make insurance more available to all and change the system so that it gives the American people value for money [1]. He also wants change so that the insurance companies find it harder to get out of paying for treatment. The system he is proposing looks similar to that which works in Taiwan where private companies are involved in providing healthcare [2].

Obama campaigned on reforming the healthcare system. He said he wanted to make insurance more available and he was elected by the American people to do this [3].

FACT - the US has higher death rates for kids both for kids aged under one and those under five than western European countries with universal health coverage [4].

FACT – American insurance companies push up prices and work to stop paying out claims on those they cover [5].

FACT - the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet [6].

That means that a dead American four year old would have had a better chance of life if they were born in any western nation with universal health coverage.

If you do not like the policies that Obama was elected to bring in, he can always be voted out of office in 2012. But if you disagree with the facts, please let me know. I am always willing to learn, but please provide proof. None of those who disagree with me have been able to do that so far.

Pelosi has taken credit for her "sweeping and Historical" health care ...so it only stands to reason that she fall for it's failure....but to answer your question, I'm sure that he is planning on blaming Bush some how

a wise man once wrote that "one the eve of a new presidant takeing office the leaveing pres handed him 2 letters. he said" if you ever run into a problem open you can't solve, open the 1st letter, it happens again open the 2nd." after about a year he had a problem so he opened the 1st. it read "blame me an all will be well." this worked like a charm. a short time later he had another problem he couldn't solve so he opened the 2nd. it read "sit down. write 2 letters."

time will tell if this is true.

On December 19, 2009, Senator Ben Nelson, democrat, from Nebraska was granted immunity by the democratic Senate leadership from Medicaid funding mandates that all other states will be required to pay in return for his vote to pass the Senate Health Reform Bill. Two weeks ago, Senator Mary Landrieu, democrat from Louisiana acquired $300,000,000.00 from the Senate democratic leadership for the State of Louisiana in return for her vote to save the Senate Health Care Reform Bill. Would you consider this blackmail, bribery, corruption at its highest level?

    Consider the suggestion here.

The entire Congress of the United States is corrupt.. And I mean both Houses and I mean both major parties.

I realize that a few Members of each House are trustworthy, but, as a group

they are absolutely the most corrupt bunch to ever disgrace our Nation.

    In November of 2010 the entire House of Representatives will stand for re-election;

all 435 of them. One third of the Senate, a total of 33 of them, will also stand for re-election.

    Vote every incumbent out.

And I mean every one of them. No matter their Party affiliation.

Let's start all over in the House of Representatives with 435 people who have absolutely no experience in running that body, with no political favors owed to anyone but their own constituents. Let's make them understand that they work for us and we are not putting up with their crap.

They are answerable to us and they simply have to run that body with some common sense or they are gone.

Two years later, in 2012, vote the next third of the incumbents in the Senate out.

We can do the same thing in 2014 and, by that time we will have put all new people in that body as well.

We, the People, have got to take this Country back and this is the only way to do it peacefully .

That's what the Framers of our Constitution envisioned.

I am also suggesting term limits on the NEW BUNCH BECAUSE THE LONGER THEY STAY IN OFFICE THE MORE POWER THEY GET AND THEY LOVE IT AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET RE-ELECTED.

WE HAVE TERM LIMITED THE PRESIDENT -

NOW LET'S TERM LIMIT THE LEGISLATORS.

And we do away with their Special Retirement system and their health program (they should have same health programs everyone else in America does). When they are through serving their country they go back to being private citizens. They should view their service as a privilege; after all it was designed to be a part time job to represent the voice of the people, NOT the special interest groups and those who can do favors for them.

If they don't like this proposal then don't run for office.

Please, if you love this Country,

send this (as I have done)

to absolutely everyone whose email address

    appears in your address book.

This thing can permeate this Country in no time.

    Let's make it happen.

VOTE THE POWER ABUSERS OUT........LET'S TAKE AMERICA BACK !!!!!!!!!

IF YOU LIKE THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING IN OUR COUNTRY,

    THEN DO NOTHING.........

THIS MOVEMENT IS A RAPIDLY GROWING GRASS ROOTS MOVEMENT TO TAKE BACK CONTROL OF OUR GOVERNMENT.

All their political opponents have been made irrelevant. Democrats control the government in all aspects.

Of course they will blame each other. Any time one party controls everything they have no one to blame but each other.

That's why we have checks and balances.

    Works.
