Camera Warranty?????????????
Hey! My camera broke - i posted a previous question asking what was wrong, and I think that it is the LCD screen that has broken - but it does have a 3 year warranty - i got it last year. The warranty is for Currys(UK) and I was just wandering if it is currys i have to take it back to or not? And will they replace it with no fee?
Thanks!

The detail of your warranty will be explained on the warranty itself. Standard warranties cover manufacturing defects and defects that come to light during use. Extended warranties may cover accidental damage too - it depends on the detail.
If this is a Curry's extended warranty you'll need to take the camera back to a Curry's store. Again it depends on the detail of the warranty, as to whether they will attempt repair, replace, or refund.
You really do need to read the detail of the warranty, it should be reasonably clear what is covered, if it isn't then you need to ask just what you paid for when you purchased the extended warranty.

Curry's is a non-franshise chain, it's waranties are good at all UK stores, not just the store purchased from.

It sound as if your warranty is a store warranty so you most likely have to go through Currys for service. Your camera may also be covered under the manufacturers warranty depending on how long youve had it. If the manufacturers warranty is still in effect it would give you some other options for service.

It will most likely have to be a branch of Currys but doesn't have to be the same one.
If it is not a problem through faulty equipment it will be considered misuse or damage. In which case you would need to make sure your warranty covers accidental damage as well as parts, and will be likely that you will have to pay an excess.

No no save does that for the period of any respect, they might think of that's a scam, you could might desire to deliver it into the producer, and in case you 'broke' the digital camera, there is not any guarantee you will might desire to pay money, till you attempt to deceive them, which they get mad at. No save supply you yet another digital camera, that's not their situation interior the least, you will might desire to deliver it back to nikon employer, or canon employer, or whichever one you got it from. surely, did you purely assume them to do you a sparkling digital camera once you broke it ?. regrettably, they are actually not that stupid :). do not situation although, you do not might desire to pay plenty to provider the digital camera ( risk of guarantee is particularly limp ). i desire each and everything gels nicely with you and your digital camera situation.
