Actually I have a friend who has this type of relationship. She manages to keep contact by using skype all the time so she stays like 4 hours talking to bf each day. They even eat "together". Even if it's weird it does work!

yes i have i tried to make it work for approx. 2 years but it ended because he was cheating on me.

but to answer your question i guess what i did to try to make it work was definately trust, honesty and being able to be interesting or soemthing. my ambition to stay in the relationship was because i thought that i had loved him, but after what he had done to me i didn't hesitate to end it. he was a douche bag so w/e lol i'm over it now xD

I have been in a few long distance relationships. Try saying something with more meaning everyday. maybe, sending her a digital boquet of flowers.

it works but you have to have faith.keep texting n emailing her and sending her messages like "missing u desperatly" "worlds a gloom without you" best of luck...oh and when your in a long distance relationship dont forget you aniversary r her birthday it creats problems

Surprise them with cute phone calls, or Txts or even Message them.
