Low fever 2 days after multiple bites?

I was gardening 2 days ago and that evening noticed a few itchy spots, now 17, they're not mozzie bites, they're under the bust, on the buttocks and along the thigh line where my pants run and on my tummy. They're smallish red raised spots like shingles or flea bites, not heaps itchy mostly when they're bumped they need a scratch.

Lowered appetite today, mild irritated throat the last 2 evenings since the bites.

Today I have felt hot all day to the point of getting clammy despite cold showers and aircon.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I'm on the East coast of Australia, it is summer here.

Update:

I don't think necrotizing fasciitis is something to worry about, none of the bite marks are progressing much passed itching and being little red lumps in general, it's the fever and fatigue bothering me most because I have children to look after.

Update 2:

Yep, I had chicken pox a long time ago and a very bad case of it too, I know it can re occur but these are definitely bites, not pox or measles. I've had shingles before too and this is definitely not that.

I was looking along the lines of ross river fever but it takes 3 days to present normally and can arise from 1 bite, I have 17 and more that haven't erupted.

I seem to itch then the spot appears where I was scratching then the itching settles only to be an issue when I brush my hand over it irritating it.

Is there such a thing as dirt mites like dust mites I wonder.

It sounds like heat rash to me.

As for the fever and low appetite, that could very well be heat stroke as this has all happened since gardening.

It's possible you're been bitten by some strange bug but if so then you would have been obviously sick by now if it was dangerous.

You could also have had a reaction to some of the plants in the garden, but who knows?

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but see your doctor if it gets worse

    Good luck :)

Source(s): I live on the East coast and it gets pretty humid... sweat rash and heat stroke are pretty common

Kind of sounds like Chicken Pox to me, have you ever had them? They start out small then turn to blisters. If it is some kind of bites then you really should go to the doctor.
